Biya appoints son of jailed defence minister

President Paul Biya has appointed Jean Phillipe Mebe Ngo’o, the son of jailed former Minister of Defence Edgar Mebe Ngo’o.

Jean Phillipe Mebe Ngo’o was appointed Deputy Divisional Officer (DO) of Dibombari in the Littoral Region.

He previously held the post of the first deputy at the DO’s office.

Jean-Phillippe is a graduate from the Cameroon School of Administration commonly known by its acronym as ENAM fame for giving privilege entries to children of top government officials and ministers.

Giles Christian Sadi, the son of current Cameroon’s Minister of communication, René Sadi, was also promoted by President Paul Biya.

He previously held the position of DO of Kribi II in the South Region. He has now been promoted to Secretary General at the Governor’s office in the West Region.
